The Importance of Lesson Planning

Lesson planning is essential for teaching. It is a vital tool for every teacher. Lesson planning is important, because it is a map for every teacher to follow. Everyone needs a plan to accomplish a goal, in order to come out right with each objective and finally reach the goal. Planning must be for every day lesson; excluding the days that teacher must be spontaneous in their lessons. To be effective in teaching, it must be planned first. Lesson planning also helps the teacher to master the material being taught in class. The lesson plan itself, is a written evidence of the process of a lesson given, and if the teacher is absent, there will be a lesson to plan to be followed in case there is a substitute teacher. As we can see, lesson planning is a tool that helps the students learning and also helps the teachers.
