Integration of Technology

The integration of technology in the classroom is very important. Today’s world is surrounded by technology and students are born into technological world. This is why teaching must be up to date with technology. I was able to use technology inside my classroom. I used a computer linked to a visual projector. The purpose was to teach the students how to give a good oral presentation report. I was able to add visual aids, in order to make it attractive. When I began the discussion, the students pay close attention to the whole class. After this activity, the students were able to use technology themselves. I was able to see the enthusiasm of the student when they were able to create a power point presentation. During their presentations, the students were very creative with their presentation and went beyond the expected. Finally, technology is great and also facilitates your work. But, even though, it is good to integrate technology, we teachers must have a plan b, because technology is not perfect and it can malfunction at the wrong time. We have to remember not to sit back on technology, and be prepare to switch to an ordinary class when it is required.
