Student Assessments

The following are four of my favorite student assessments. The first assessment is a worksheet for writing all of the debate arguments from their topic. After the difficulties of the student writing argumentations, I was able to facilitate their process my using this worksheet. The second assessment is a letter that the students wrote to Orson Welles. After reading the play “War of the Worlds” the students wrote a letter to Orson Welles expressing how they felted after the prank. The third assessment chosen is about an activity done in class about graduation. The students were very emotional about it, and they read their work to the class. The fourth assessment is my favorite assessment from the whole semester. This assessment was about making a change in the world. The students were very creative with their plans and strategies. The purpose was to create conscience and make students capable of being a change.
